Aside from being a tasty and flavorful mix of sour and sweet, and saltiness the kiamuy is also used when dealing with symptoms of nausea, or other forms of motion sickness. In a nutshell, the treat is a preserved dried prune or plum and is usually sold in street carts near schools, offices, and public places.
