These premium roasted barley tea bags are an essential part of a Japanese summer. Mugi cha is a very popular drink in the hot summer months due to its thirst quenching properties and delicious roasted flavour (a little similar to coffee but completely caffeine free) Simply pop a tea bag in 1 litre jug of cold water and, after a couple of hours, it’s ready. Can also be drunk hot like regular tea. Each bag is good for 1 litre of water, and each pack contains 54 tea bags. Made in Japan by Itoen, Japan’s largest green tea distributor.
